Hello! I'm Dr. Tim Vu. I completed my PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Northwestern University and my Postdoc at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. My research encompassed the intersection of synthetic biology, nanoparticle drug delivery, and immunotherapy. Specifically, I worked on using synthetic biology tools to for enabling high-throughput screening of liposomes and lipid nanoparticles for T cell engineering and activation. I also worked with microfluidics, membrane biophysics, membrane proteins, and bispecific antibodies.
Nowadays, I'm interested in working with startups to translate novel science to commercial products, such as therapeutics, diagnostics, biomanufacturing tools, and other life science tools. I do this through my consulting work, helping startup companies build commercialization plans for their non-dilutive funding grants and working with venture capital firms. I would love to hear from you and see if there's anything I can do to help. Please feel free to reach out!
